Site Manager L1 - Caernarfon

Are you a leader with the ability to motivate others? Looking for that first step into Site Management?

We are looking for a Site Manager for our Caernarfon site to oversee the day-to-day management of staff, including drivers and administrative personnel, at the designated location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement all essential checks and controls to uphold the safety and reliability of the fleet, including but not limited to CPC, RTD/WTD compliance, tachograph record keeping, and maintenance plans.
  • Safety remains the top priority in our operations. The Site Leader must possess the ability to comprehend and apply all pertinent legislation and standards, collaborate with internal experts, and engage with regulatory authorities. Ensuring stringent security measures for property and products is imperative. Additionally, being available as an emergency call-out key holder and attending to emergencies when necessary is essential.
  • Utilise a comprehensive understanding of applicable legislation, safety protocols, quality procedures, and site operational guidelines when carrying out responsibilities.
  • Guarantee that the locations under their supervision adhere to company policies as well as external regulatory requirements.
  • Prioritise customer satisfaction in all decision-making processes. Ensure comprehensive training and provision of resources for all employees to deliver exceptional customer service across all aspects of the cylinder and bulk business.
  • Strategise and oversee the training and professional growth of on-site staff. Conduct performance evaluations in accordance with company protocols.

Do you have?

  • Proven people management / leadership skills
  • Ability to organise resources in line with customer needs, company service levels through KPIs.
  • Sound working knowledge of current transport regulations and directives.
  • Ideally minimum of 3 years' experience at management or supervisory level in a service led environment, financial experience preferred
  • Knowledge of current employment legislation
  • IT literate
  • ADR certificate / Experience of Hazardous goods preferred
  • Formal safety qualification preferred, (IOSHH, NEBOSH)
  • Management CPC
