The Assistant Management Accountant is a vital part of the accounting team, responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial reports and forecasts in the property industry. The successful applicant will be located in Epsom and will play a key role in contributing to the financial health of the company.

Description

Reporting to the Management Accountant, the Assistant Management Accountant is a varied role including responsibility for payrolls, journals, reconciliations, and reporting.

You will have the ability to work well under pressure, have a methodical approach to work and be diligent and professional with excellent attention to detail. You must be highly organised with a minimum of 2 years' experience in accounts assistant capacity and a good working knowledge on Excel. Although desirable, it's not a prerequisite that you have worked in the construction industry previously. It is also preferred that you have achieved as a minimum AAT level 3.

Profile

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work well in a team.
  • A strong commitment to meeting deadlines and producing accurate work.
