Senior Pensions Administrator - Payroll

Location: Stockport
Salary: Up to 30,000 per annum pro rata
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday Friday, flexible between 8am-6pm)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the operation of the company's pension schemes, ensuring compliance with Auto-Enrolment Legislation.
  • Manage employee and employer pension payments for LGPS and NHS pension schemes.
  • Oversee the administration of death in service insurance and other employee benefits.
  • Act as the primary contact for all pension schemes, including handling TUPE transfers.
  • Provide training and support to less experienced colleagues and assist with legislative updates.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years direct experience in pension scheme administration.
  • Knowledge of Auto-Enrolment system and legislation.
  • Experience with NHS and LGPS pension schemes.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and work under pressure.
