Industry leading manufacturing organisation in Gloucester is seeking a Finance Manager. You will be a qualified accountant and ideally have experience in the manufacturing industry or similar. This role will be supporting developments, improving management information, running the management accounts and leading a small team. With new investment in the business, there is lots of opportunity for progression.

Responsibilities will include:

Working closely with wider stakeholders within the business to understand their reporting requirements and help implement the management information frameworkUnderstand the strengths and weaknesses of the current standard costing and management reporting framework and work with the businessPerform root cause analysis to gain an understanding of process control and what "good" looks like.Set up weekly / monthly efficiency variance reporting and price variance reportingWorking capital management - setting up of review processes and calculating KPIsReview sales contracts to ensure revenue recognitionProfit and loss account preparationMonthly accruals and prepayments, including stockIntercompany accounting, raising of intercompany monthly invoices and reconciliationVAT return / intrastat submissionsAd hoc projects
Your Profile:CIMA / ACCA QualifiedIdeally manufacturing or similar experienceExcellent Excel skills
