PSR Solutions are working with an established client within the Civil Engineering Sector to recruit a Managing Quantity Surveyor to be a senior member of their Commercial team on a permanent basis. This role with be based in the Wales and will involve work within Water and Waste Water infrastructure Sector.

Managing Quantity Surveyor Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the end to end commercial processes and requirements of the contract.
  • Will be responsible, where required, to ensure that a review of all of the contractual obligations and commercial risks is carried out prior to the submission of tenders.
  • Assist in maximising of cash position, including WIP control, cash flow production & improvement plans for all projects.
  • Identify and advise upon of insurance related issues, including PI and also ensure a margin improvement plan exists on each project.
  • Assist in work winning duties as required, including proactive release of team members and attendance at Client Presentations for Tender Interview.

Managing Quantity Surveyor Requirements

  • BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar commercial related course
  • Highly computer literate including Microsoft Office and confident in managing and working with large data sets
  • Previous management experience is essential
  • Experience working within Water Sector (Clean or Waste Water)
  • Valid driving licence
