Newham Collegiate Sixth Form Centre (The NCS) was established in 2014 with the aim of educating some of the brightest minds in Newham and East London, with a view to prepare them to attend some of the most competitive universities in the UK and abroad. In its first Ofsted inspection, The NCS was graded 'Outstanding' in all areas. Building on this success, and with excellent support provided by the Trust and sponsor, this is a great opportunity to lead our highly ambitious sixth form centre's philosophy of making a real difference to the lives of young people.
The NCS provides a stimulating education and personalised curriculum within a supportive environment in which students are encouraged to stretch themselves academically to achieve their potential. The NCS offers an academic A-Level Curriculum with a specialism in Science and Maths, alongside strong pathways in Humanities. The A-Level Curriculum and the extra-curricular programme are focused on preparing students for progression to highly competitive universities in the UK and abroad.
