Your new companyA Brighton based wholesaler is looking for an Administrator to join their business. A well-established & award-winning company, with a turnover in excess of £1bn this is a highly successful organisation with sites across the UK. This is a new role, which has come about due to company growth. Working alongside the finance and purchasing teams, this is a great opportunity to progress in a supportive environment.
Your new roleThis is an administrative position which will give exposure to different parts of the business, including finance, procurement and operations. Working 5 days/week in the office, you'll be surrounded by a high-performing and experienced team with customer satisfaction at its core.
Key duties include:
- Managing email inbox and responding to internal, customer and supplier queries
- Opening post and filing
- Scanning paper documents including invoices and credit notes
- Uploading documents onto CRM and finance system
- Creating suppliers on system and updating supplier information when required
- Maintaining a list of assets including vehicles and machinery
What you'll need to succeedYou'll have previous administration experience with strong MS Office skills including Excel, Word and Outlook. You'll also have strong written/verbal communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow internal processes. This role is based in Brighton, so the successful candidate will live within a commutable distance (if you are relocating to the area, please make this clear on your CV).
What you'll get in returnYou'll receive an annual salary of £26.5k, working 40 hrs/week Mon-Fri. Benefits include days holiday, company pension scheme, discretionary profit sharing scheme. Parking is available on site and the business is close to public transport links.
