Inside Sales Executive

PURPOSE OF POSITION
Based at our Brighton facility (on site/hybrid/remote), to take ownership of some existing customer accounts, but primarily tasked with generating new business and opportunities across all product ranges within the allocated region. To build strong working relationships, maximizing revenue and margin. Identifying opportunities for product and market development within existing and new customers. Follow up of all allocated leads and enquiries. Update and maintain all systems as required, including but not limited to SAP/JDE and Salesforce, enabling accurate forecasting for sales and margin.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Proactive customer account management, (Primarily Phone, Teams etc with occasional face-face as and when required)Data analysis of customer accounts, market sectors and product groups of the named accountsGathering and recording of market intelligenceRecording of Qualifying Leads to Opportunities using Gems Standard Work procedures.Communication of pricing updates to customers including pricing negotiationsTake ownership and management of new Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) opportunities.Comfortable with Budget/quota responsibility for allocated accountsMay be assigned additional projects and responsibilities as requiredMAIN RESPONSIBLITIES

Telephone & Teams calls, emails to customers to maintain/build account relationship
Maintenance of customer review cadence (quarterly business or 6 monthly reviews)
Updating price lists, and SAP price maintenance, including processing of Special Price Agreements.
Ability to develop understanding of applications, gather market intelligence, build good levels of customer intimacy
Calls recorded in SFDC-with notes for any key points or action
Completion and recording of review results in SFDC
Price list spreadsheets, SPRs on Salesforce and SAP price automation
Deliver results
Customer demand analysis by product – What do they buy (trends) why any changes to gauge demand.
Account gross margin analysis – Check overall gross margin per account vs target levels and flag overall and product specific margins when too low.
Promote sales by providing timely qualification of leads & referrals. Qualified leads to be logged in SFDC
Process, quotations, enquiries & quickly and accurately. Provide excellent support and advice to existing and potential new customers
Provide the business with accurate bookings/sales forecasts, (monthly, quarterly, annually)
Customer purchasing trend reports in SFDC
Leads KPI = 24hr for completion.
Orders, quotes, enquiries & complaints. KPI = Response time 24hr.
Regular Sales/forecasting meetings
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Technical Skills/Knowledge
High proficiency in both German and English language is essential including the ability to converse and write about commercial or technical subjectsAdditional French or Spanish Language skills beneficialStrong sales experience with a technical product (Electronic Temperature Controllers, Sensing technology)Relevant experience in Inside Sales, and/or Business Development in a technical sales or industrial environmentExcellent Numeracy skillsProficient skills of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)Solid grounding and understanding of CRM. SFDC preferred.SAP Skills advantageousSoft skills
