We are working with one of our clients to find a Purchase Ledger to start immediately to sickness, you must have previous experience and the ability to hit the ground running

Duties of the Purchase Ledger:
To match and post supplier invoices onto system
Electronically invoice match to appropriate purchase orders and stock receipts
Processing payments to suppliers in accordance with agreed terms
Ensure all supplier statements are reconciled and queries are dealt with in the appropriate manner
Processing payment of employee expense claims once appropriately approved
Maintaining the creditors ledger, allocating payments, and reconciling suppliers' statements
Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
Point of contact for purchase ledger queries, investigating and raising supplier issues
Escalating purchase ledger queries if unable to resolve
Communicate efficiently and effectively with other departments, senior members of the organisation, customers, and suppliers
Dealing with supplier phone calls, chasing for payments, and resolving queries / issues
Maintain purchase ledger administration functions, including filing of invoices and statements
Working with the purchase ledger Supervisor to produce reports
