About us and the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our highly regarded Flexible Learning Team and be part of Warwickshire's SEND Change journey. We have a vacancy for a full time Inclusion Mentor to work supporting children who are Educated Other Than At School. This is a term time only position.
We're looking for a motivated, resourceful, and enthusiastic practitioner to work with pupils who are being educated outside of educational settings.
Key requirements
The successful candidate will be required to support both primary and secondary aged pupils with their education delivering highly creative interventions, which engage learners and secure best outcomes. Although most of the work is delivered in homes and outside formal educational placements, a good understanding of school systems is important. The successful candidate will work alongside our team of specialist teachers, planning and delivering a curriculum in line with the requirements of an Education, Health and Care plan, working closely with other SEND professionals.
