Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA are seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join the team at Mercure Inverness Hotel on a full time basis

A day in the life of...
As Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the hotel's physical facilities and equipment and maintain a safe and secure environment for yourself, guests, and colleagues in line with the company's security, operating and environmental policies. You will ensure you are well organised to guarantee minimum impact to guests and colleagues, whilst also delivering a consistently high standard of work and attention to detail during each shift.
You will work closely with the Maintenance Manager and senior hotel management team and other employees to ensure that guests have a comfortable and safe stay.
As part of your role, you will:
Perform maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities and equipment
Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential problems or hazards
Respond to guest requests for repairs or maintenance in a timely manner
Maintain records of maintenance and repair work
Assist with the installation and set up of new equipment and facilities
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Communicate effectively with hotel management and other employees

Based in the Mercure Inverness Hotel, you will be part of a team of passionate people who know that being the best doesn't always mean working around the clock.

The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in maintenance or related field preferred
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor
