Your Responsibilities

Key Duties:

  • Conduct routine electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations following the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Perform electrical inspections and testing to ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Identify and resolve electrical issues, implementing effective solutions to reduce downtime.
  • Work collaboratively with other maintenance personnel to tackle maintenance challenges.
  • Assist with general maintenance tasks, including plumbing and joinery as needed.
  • Travel to various company sites to maintain consistent standards across locations.
  • Keep accurate records of all electrical work, including inspection reports and maintenance logs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all tasks.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
  • Engage in preventative maintenance programs to enhance the reliability of systems.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Electrician with a focus on electrical tasks.
  • Certification in the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, installations, inspections, and testing.
  • Basic skills in plumbing and joinery.
  • Ability to interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to respond to emergency calls outside regular hours.
  • Experience in a similar maintenance role within an industrial or commercial environment.
  • Valid driver's license.

Additional Requirements:

A DBS/Disclosure Check will be necessary for the successful candidate.
