We currently offer the following position on a remote basis within the UK. Please note that this is a field-based role predominantly focused on the Oxford area, although required to travel within a certain geography of the UK

Key Account Manager Microscopy (d/f/m)

Passionate by Life Science Research, do you aspire to be responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins in Oxford area ?

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage our key accounts in Oxford; maintaining our existing accounts and finding new customers in order to reach growth targets
  • Develop strategies to win new business through account mapping and networking
  • Leverage our outstanding Leica team of Advanced Workflow Specialists, Product Sales Specialists, Inside Sales Specialists, and even our Channel Partners to ensure our customers are talking to the right people at the right times
  • Manage sales funnel proactively and constantly in order to produce accurate forecasts for the purposes of business planning
  • Be customer-facing and proactive – the expectation is to be on-site with customers three days a week
  • Report weekly on the sales funnel and other key metrics

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have a degree in Life Sciences
  • You have a strong and proven sales experience in a relevant industry (medical devices, life sciences...)
  • You have a technical ability to understand and talk about complex solutions in an informed way.
  • Your strong communication skills and sound business acumen are key on this role
