Dorset Wildlife Trust is excited to be offering one of the most rewarding roles in nature conservation. Be involved from the start with a lead role in planning and delivering nature recovery at scale centred around our brand new site at Lyscombe.

You will be part of the Wilder Landscapes team and will lead on inspiring land managers about changing land use around Lyscombe and a suite of sites within our Species Survival programme. The postholder will be based at Lyscombe and will work alongside the team, Natural England and neighbouring farmers to help create more space for nature. The work will involve working with farmers, landowners and partner organisations as well as starting Lyscombe on its rewilding journey.

This unique opportunity will be at the forefront of landscape scale conservation, supporting active farm clusters and other landscape scale schemes and projects as part of a skilled and well respected team.

This is a two year fixed term contract position.

This project is funded by the Government's Species Survival Fund. The fund was developed by Defra and its Arm's-Length Bodies. It is being delivered by The National Lottery Heritage Fund in partnership with Natural England and the Environment Agency
