Play Leader and Play Worker (Starting September 2024)

The role
Vision for Education is currently recruiting a Lead Play Worker to run Breakfast Club and After School Club provision and a Play Worker to support them, to start from September. Split shifts will be 7:15am 9am and 3pm 6pm. The clubs run at a capacity of 22 children. There will also be opportunity for TA work across KS1 and KS2 throughout the day too to possibly increase your earnings.
As a Play Leader you will be responsible for planning activities and managing two fellow members of staff (Play Workers), so some kind of supervisory experience would be advantageous.
The School
A one form entry school that is a happy and healthy place to learn. All learners are empowered and encouraged to respect diverse values, languages, religions and traditions.
Requirements
The desired Play Leader/Play Worker will:
- Have experience working with Primary School aged children.
- Have a passion for helping to support teaching staff across all subjects.
- Be dedicated to improving outcomes for all children
Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults. We take our responsibilities extremely seriously. All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
