The role offers the chance to support a portfolio of well-known global brands, as well as work on integrated campaigns involving earned media, strategy, creative, analytics and digital specialists. You'll work closely with various account teams and learn the key skills required for pitching to the media and securing coverage, researching, and reporting on campaigns. What you'll be doingSupporting with developing media trackers, conference/event planning and managing logistics for client/team meetings Media research, developing targeted media lists for client pitches Writing various media materials (press releases, pitch emails, reporter backgrounders, social media posts) Staying on top of industry news, trends and influencers in specific industriesAttend team meetings and brainstormsEvent research and preparation Supplier liaison (e.g. production companies) Meeting and learning from the whole Weber Shandwick Collective, including 1:1 "ask me anything" sessions What we're looking forThe role would suit someone with a keen interest in current and public affairs that is eager to learn about the diverse industries we operate within such as technology, AI, sustainability and social impact.The ideal candidate will be curious, ambitious, proactive and friendly.
