Role Overview:

The Finance Assistant will collaborate closely with the Finance Director, ensuring the maintenance of precise and efficient financial operations. This position is vital for the seamless execution of our agency's financial processes, supporting our ongoing expansion. Key Responsibilities:

  • Banking: Perform weekly reconciliations of multiple business accounts and report any discrepancies.
  • Expense Management: Assess expenses for accuracy and VAT compliance, managing Expend statements within Paprika.
  • Accounts Payable: Enter and reconcile supplier invoices, address supplier inquiries, and prepare monthly payment schedules.
  • Accounts Inbox Management: Oversee and prioritize queries, ensuring all communications are addressed promptly.
  • Ledger Support: Assist with balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, and accruals.
  • Payroll Coordination: Reconcile shifts, monitor expenses, and facilitate bonus distributions.
  • Ad Hoc Reporting: Gather data for client reports and assist client-facing teams as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and manage stock inventory and logistics, ensuring accurate tracking.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Location: Must be within commuting distance to the office.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years in brand experience, staffing, or a field marketing agency.
  • Excel Proficiency: Intermediate level required.
  • Balance Sheet Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Software Knowledge: Familiarity with Paprika is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication abilities, attention to detail, critical thinking, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Interpersonal Qualities: Ability to build relationships with team members; confident and energetic demeanor.
  • Work Ethic: Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
