A Commercial Connections Specialist within SP Distribution provides efficient, effective and accurate support to the Strategic Connections function. They assist the commercial processes for large connection applications to the ScottishPower network, managing timely and accurate reporting and monitoring of applications, and support other, wider interface with National Grid.

What you'll be doing

As a Commercial Connections Specialist you will be responsible for:

Performance Metrics: Support the preparation of Connection Offers and Connection Agreements within key performance indicators, monitoring compliance with required timescales. Data: Keep accurate records to track key commercial documents and agreements. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support the Connections process and provide assistance at industry meetings when required. Quality Assurance: Ensure the appropriate governance for applications including monitoring of acceptance and fees. Reporting: Manage the reporting on key connection statistics. What you'll bring You will have experience in managing and interpreting data and possess the ability to communicate (verbally and written) insights effectively to all audiences and excellent attention to detail to ensure compliance. Awareness of the energy industry and knowledge and experience of SAP is desirable; however training and support will be provided. To be successful, you will have: Demonstratable experience in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and be able to create complex reports, manage dashboards, and use formulae. Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads to achieve deadlines. Good written presentation skills. Commercial awareness.
