Intro:

Cedar have exclusively partnered with a well established Retail/E-commerce business to secure an Interim Head of Finance, based in Central London. The role will is a 3 month contract, paying a day rate of £575-£625 per day (dependent of relevant experience).

This role will require you to work in the office 5 days per week

The Company:

This well established Retail/E-Commerce company are experiencing a considerable amount of growth and are going from strength to strength and are now looking to hire an interim Head of Finance to assist them for 3 months until their permanent hire starts.

The Role:

Financial Planning and Analysis:
Lead the development and implementation of financial plans, budgets and forecasts.Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement.Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial performance and market trends.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.Oversee compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements and internal controls.Manage relationships with auditors, regulators and other stakeholders.
Accounting and Controls:
Supervise the accounting team in maintaining accurate and complete financial records.Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliation's and financial reporting.
Treasury and Cash Management:
Optimise cash flow management, including monitoring cash balances and forecasting cash needs.Manage banking relationships and treasury activities, including cash investments, debt financing and foreign exchange transactions.Implement strategies to mitigate financial risks and optimize liquidity.
Financial Operations:
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions to ensure timely and accurate processing.Streamline financial processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Identify opportunities for automation and technology solutions to enhance financial operations.
