East Lothian Children's Services has an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join the Disability Team. The team consists of a team leaders, 2 senior practitioners, 2.5 social workers and 1.5 family support workers and has dedicated administrative support.
The team is our specialist team working with children, young people, and their families affected by complex and enduring disabilities across East Lothian. The care at home crisis has resulted in some creative and innovative practice being developed, with the team undertaking all aspects of this work from referral, assessment, setting up- and reviewing packages of support.

Job RequirementsEducation/Qualifications
Essential: Approved qualification in Social Work, and SSSC registration.
Those with international Social Work qualifications should not apply unless they are fully registered with the SSSC.

Full current driving licence and access to a vehicle*

PVG/Disclosure Requirements
