Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments and reviews to guarantee the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
- Developing and implementing effective care plans to support vulnerable children and families.
- Providing guidance and support to children, families, and carers to promote positive outcomes.
- Collaborating with multi-agency teams to deliver effective interventions and achieve the best possible results.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified social worker with a deep commitment to achieving the best outcomes for vulnerable children. You will also need to be a member of the PVG scheme, hold a degree in Social Work or equivalent, and be a member of the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
