We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at Haddington Care Home. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
About the Role
- Provide high-quality care to residents, promoting independence and dignity.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support residents with medication management and administration.
- Engage residents in activities and hobbies, promoting social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
- SVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- At least 6 months of experience working in a care setting, preferably in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
