Do you have the passion, drive and commitment to take on the role of TA/Keyworker in our team, working at our school in Finchley location? You would be working alongside the teacher with an individual pupil or as additional support with a small group of 3-4 children.
We offer training and professional development as well as a clearly structured career path. We are very strong on personal development and encourage staff to further themselves.
This role will suit those looking to work a shorter day as our day is 9am-3pm, and the contact with children is only 9:30am-2:30pm.
We are looking for you if you have the desire and motivation to meet the challenge of working with children with SEN. If you are passionate about making a real difference to young people and can demonstrate your experience of working with pupils with special educational needs, particularly those with autism and/or challenging behaviour, in a structured setting either within the classroom or in youth work, we would love to hear from you. You should be adaptable and an excellent communicator with a commitment to professional development. You will need to have experience of working with SEN children, but there are no specific qualifications required
The Southover Partnership is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share the same commitment. The post is subject to an Enhanced Certificate of Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service and a range of other recruitment checks.
