Year 2 Teaching Assistant

The Supply Room, a leading education recruitment agency, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Kingsbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about education and making a positive impact on the lives of young students.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons to Year 2 students
- Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help with their studies
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Support students with their social and emotional development
- Assist in preparing classroom resources and materials
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of various learning activities
- Maintain accurate records of students' progress and development
- Collaborate with the teaching team and attend team meetings
- Foster effective communication with parents and carers
- Always ensure the overall safety and well-being of students
**Requirements**:
- Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting
- A genuine passion for supporting students' learning and development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with young children
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- A clear understanding of the national curriculum and educational standards
- A professional and proactive attitude
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
