  • Act as a point of contact for the department, dealing with routine and specialist enquiries in apleasant and helpful manner, communicating relevant information to stakeholders, referring toothers as appropriate

  • Answer telephone calls, taking messages and passing on accurately to the relevantdepartment/person
  • Ensure that general office supply levels are maintained, escalating to line manager if stocks are low
  • To deal with all outgoing and incoming mail. Responsible for sorting all out-going mail to ensurethat IG standards are adhered to
  • Promote the image of the department, checking that notices and leaflets are up to date and wellpresented
  • Resolving complaints if possible, and escalate when required. Ensure that complaints are dealt withappropriately, and in accordance with policy
  • Word processing and processing documents (scanning/photocopying) when required
