Jackson Hogg are delighted to be working with a client in Blyth on the appointment of a Credit Controller.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the credit control process, ensuring timely payment from customers, and maintaining accurate financial records.



Responsibilities:

  • Chase outstanding debts via phone, email, and letter
  • Allocate payments in the accounting system
  • Reconcile accounts to ensure all payments are accurately recorded
  • Investigate and resolve queries relating to nonpayment of invoices
  • Maintain accurate customer records and ensure credit limits are adhered to
  • Produce aged debtor reports for management review
  • Work closely with the sales team to resolve customer issues promptly

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in credit control or a similar finance role
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of accounts payable processes
