On behalf of this organisation, AMS is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist for a 3-month contract based in London - hybrid working model (50/50).
Purpose of the Role:
You will be responsible for managing various tasks related to invoice processing, supplier management, and payment processes using the Proactis system.
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Invoice processing.Query desk management - dealing with any invoices which hit the query desk.Supplier management - verifying new suppliers and changes to bank account details and updating suppliers on Proactis.Daily reporting - where there is a blocked invoice in the system (what is the blocker i.e. no goods received / invoice cost greater than Purchase Order)Non-standard (exception) invoice processing on standalone system.
What we require from the candidate:
Proven experience in accounts payable and invoice processing.Familiarity with the Proactis system is highly desirable.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Strong communication skills to handle supplier queries and collaborate with internal teams.
