As the ED&I and Wellbeing Assistant, your role is instrumental in supporting the Head of ED&I and Senior Adviser in executing the firm's strategic initiatives. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Facilitating the internal ED&I Committee, Employee Impact Groups, and Mental Health First Aiders, ensuring seamless communication and organisation.
- Orchestrating events and campaigns that spotlight ED&I and Wellbeing, collaborating with various internal teams.
- Guiding Solicitor Apprentices, providing a supportive learning environment during their tenure.
- Managing budget spreadsheets with precision, contributing to the firm's financial stewardship.
- Assisting with diversity benchmark submissions and reporting, showcasing the firm's commitment to social responsibility.
- Coordinating internal seminars, events, and podcasts, enhancing the firm's educational outreach.
- Crafting internal communications that inform and engage, fostering a connected community.
- Contributing to ED&I-led work experience programmes, shaping the future of the legal profession.
- Staying abreast of best practices in ED&I and Wellbeing, ensuring the firm remains at the forefront of innovation.
Candidate profile/experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A fervent passion for all facets of ED&I and Wellbeing.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with an emphasis on Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, ensuring clarity and precision.
- Organisational prowess, with a proactive approach to meeting deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail, upholding the firm's standards of excellence.
