About the Role


We are the Independent Learning (ilearn) team for Leeds City College, and we are here to support students in developing their independent learning skills and achieving personal goals.

We are looking for innovative leaders to join our team and implement independent skills through in-class sessions and 121 support using digital tools and software to harness technologies like AI to enrich learning. You'll help ensure our services empower students and staff.

What You Will Do

  • Champion the benefits of our skills offerings and use insights to advance our development strategy
  • Liaise with faculty so our skills-building toolkit meets student needs
  • Pioneer blended delivery techniques, capitalizing on technology
  • Lead, manage and mentor the local iLearn team to deliver curriculum requirements
  • Administer budgets/resources in partnership with teaching staff
  • Spearhead ethically-grounded AI and digital pilots to enhance outcomes
  • Ready staff to incorporate highly promising instructional technologies
