The Role:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting individuals with learning disabilities in a supported living environment. Your primary focus will be to empower these individuals to achieve their personal goals and live fulfilling lives.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Facilitate access to community resources and activities, promoting social inclusion and engagement.
- Implement individualized support plans, ensuring that each person's unique needs are met.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to administer medication and provide support with positive behavior management strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with team members, families, and other stakeholders.
- Create a supportive and nurturing environment that fosters emotional well-being and personal growth.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities in a residential setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting people with diverse needs and promoting their independence.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Relevant qualifications in health and social care (Level 2/3 Diploma or equivalent).
