An exciting opportunity is available for an HR Assistant to join the HR Team in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences. The team is busy and welcoming, and this role plays a crucial part in supporting the efficient and professional HR service provided to all stakeholders. Joining our supportive admin team, you will be contributing to the outstanding research and teaching carried out by our staff.

Role Overview:

This position offers an excellent chance for an individual to enter the field of HR or progress in their HR career. You will gain valuable HR experience, focusing on recruitment and the employee lifecycle. Responsibilities include offering administrative assistance to the HR Operations Team and serving as a primary contact for various HR administrative concerns.

You will primarily work at the Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG. However, you will have the flexibility to arrange regular remote work with your manager.

This is a full-time role (part-time options considered, with a minimum of 22 hours per week) and is permanent.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to clearly explain processes and procedures. Prioritization skills, experience in delivering top-notch customer service with precision, attention to detail, and relevant administrative experience are also key.

The salary for this role ranges from £25,138 to £28,759 per year, with a potential increase up to £31,396 per year. (Grade 4)
