We are working exclusively with this rapidly growing British manufacturer. They are an innovative market leading manufacturing group in power distribution, switchgear, metering, transformers etc. They are now looking to recruit a dynamic Head of International Sales to take full responsibility for creating and executing their international sales strategy. You will be part of the senior leadership team; you will have extensive strategic sales /leadership experience overseas you will have covered Africa and be from the power distribution market.

Working closely with the international Sales Manager and Sales Manager for Africa you will assess trends and data, political and social factors, government regulation and local country agreements to devise an aggressive international growth strategy. Including Europe, Caribbean and Sub-Saharan Africa. You will have extensive knowledge of the African power distribution market and customers in Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Tanzania, Garna, Senegal. Managing a team of salespeople and agents driving sales both directly to end users and through distribution and agents. You will get full technical support utilising Tendering, Legal, Risk Management and Engineering teams. You will be hands on you will direct the sales team and take responsibility for overseas major accounts and big-ticket business development.

You will be working in the international power distribution market, ideally with experience of frameworks. This is an exciting opportunity, you will manage multiple bids, manage a global team and develop and deliver the strategy. You will have a technical background, Engineering Degree, apprenticeship and or hands on experience.
