What is the job role?

This role will be based within the Professional Support Service Quality Assurance Team and will support a range of complex meetings such as Child Protection Conferences and Adults Safeguarding meetings, ensuring a smooth and efficient process in preparation for, during and after the meetings, producing comprehensive electronic outcomes and minutes from said conferences in accordance with the legislative requirements and ensuring a positive and professional experience for children and families.

You will work closely with the Conference Meeting Chair to complete any required after-conference work, such as distributing outcomes and recording those on the in-house case management system.

You will be required to support service improvement and Ofsted priorities across Children's Services and continue to work towards our over-arching goal, making a difference in improving the lives of Children, Families and Young People.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Who are we looking for?

Conference Support Officer - Grade hours Monday - Thursday. Salary will be pro rata according to hours.

We currently have one vacancy for a Conference Support Officer.

Your role will be to work as part of a team and independently, your duties will include supporting the Child Protection Chair and partner agencies during Child Protection Conferences, supporting Adult Safeguarding Meetings, Position of Trust meeting and any other meetings that are within the safeguarding arena, team managers on a day to day basis.

You will be based within Broadgate House.
