The Opportunity

Worldline Merchant Services UK is looking to recruit a UK Fraud Advisory Specialist to support its 1st Line of defense risk function in the Fraud Center of Excellence.

Our Fraud Center of Excellence team is responsible for protecting Worldline and its merchants from financial and reputational losses incurred by financial crimes by assessing, controlling, and mitigating fraud risks.

Joining Worldline Merchant Services UK as a Fraud Advisory Specialist, you will be part of a globally diverse team, known for its expertise in card scheme fraud and compliance programs, PSD2, fraud patterns for different payment products and merchant verticals, and transaction monitoring within the Acquiring world.

You will work closely and collaborate with colleagues across the world within the 1st line of defense, gaining exposure to a wide range of risk and compliance practices and cultures. Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

Monitoring challenging transactions in the scope of financial fraud prevention/detection Handling fraud escalations in accordance with organizational procedures and agreed SLA Preventing the company from financial loss by conducting research and data analysis on escalations Monitoring fraud and chargeback ratio and taking appropriate actions in accordance to Worldline policies Avoiding the breach of SLA during queue handling Guiding operational teams in the complexity of fraud prevention and providing training when required Building the organizational awareness in terms of risk management and fraud prevention

Minimum 4 years of professional and educational qualifications that are relevant to this line of work, i.e. Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Business Administration, Business economics or working in fraud management within the financial sector. You have knowledge of Payment Facilitators and different levels of acquiring banking, and cooperation/experience with card schemes The ability to work with queue management tools Motivation and passion for the prevention of fraud, and you have a problem-solving attitude Data analytics and attention to detail are a second nature to you, and you have excellent Microsoft Excel skills You are familiar with fraud trends and escalation procedures Excellent communication skills with an eye for detail
