UK Enterprise Sales Leader
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our market leading Enterprise business as our UK Enterprise Sales Leader. This is the perfect role for an individual with in-depth insurance experience and expert analytical capabilities with the ability to use market data and trends to deliver exponential business growth. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of identifying and developing opportunities, within the SME insurance market, using data analysis to translate these into key business wins.
What can you expect?

- The chance to lead the development of innovative insurance products to fulfil identified gaps in the SME insurance market
- The platform to implement your data insight and analysis skills using tools including Excel and broking systems including Acturis
What will you be rewarded with?

To help ease the transition when you return to work you will be able to work 8 weeks at 80% of your normal work pattern and receive 100% of your normal salary.
We will rely on you to:
- Work in tandem with the National Sales Leaders, Enterprise MD, Region Divisional leaders, Heads of Office and Vertical Leaders to develop & execute the annual growth strategy for the Enterprise business
- Have a creative and innovative approach to business development seeking opportunities to penetrate emerging market trends
- Become a key member of the National Sales Executive Committee, being part of the team to identify and develop colleague and client campaigns, growth strategies and solutions
- Identify opportunities for new business driving the new business funnel
- Network and collaborate with wider Marsh McLennan colleagues to unlock growth opportunities
- Provide monthly data driven management reports on performance and pipeline
- Seek and build strong relationships at executive and operational levels throughout the Enterprise business
- Work within Marsh compliance procedures and guidelines
- Operate within the Marsh set standards on quality and compliance
What you need to have:
- In-depth insurance experience, ideally within the commercial/SME sector
- Proven record of delivering against business development targets
- Strong understanding of the SME/commercial insurance industry and how to tailor appropriate solutions to client needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Negotiating and influencing skills
- Analytical and problem solving abilities
