Client Details

PageGroup are delighted to support a Birmingham based organisation in the Transport/Rail sector with the appointment of a Industrial Relations Specialist to join on an interim basis for circa 8 months
This role offers hybrid working with some travel to sites in Birmingham and London 2-3 days per week.

Description

The role of Industrial Relations Specialist is an interim position for circa 8 months, with the possibility of extension.

Working closely with the Head of Workforce Development, you will be responsible for leading and shaping the development of the Long Term IR strategy

This will include:

Develop a a detailed IR strategy and action plan with the unions A review of current T&Cs and ways of working, identifying opportunities and risks of changes to deliver improved customer experience and efficiency for the new services. From the gap analysis to develop some costed options for new T&CsIdentification of changes that will need to be negotiated, consulted or informed with the unions. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business to continuously improve employee relations to support high engagement/performance levels, supporting the business both culturally and commercially Liaising with legal resources to ensure legal risks are fully considered/reported and to ensure consistency of advice and guidance across the businessProfile

A successful candidate for this role will have extensive experience at dealing with Industrial Relations in a similar role.
