SENDCO Special Educational Needs Coordinator

The Arden Forest C of E MAT Board are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic SENCo to work across Tanworth-in-Arden C of E School and The Ferncumbe C of E Primary School.
In this role you will be expected to
Determine the strategic development of special educational needs (SEN) policy and provision in the schools Be responsible for day-to-day operation of the SEN policy and co-ordination of specific provision to support individual pupils with SEN or a disability Provide professional guidance to colleagues, working closely with staff, parents and other agencies The SENCO will also be expected to fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document.
The role will start on 2nd September 2024.

Additional Information
The appointment is subject to the current conditions of employment for Class Teachers contained in the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document, the 1998 School Standards and Framework Act, the required standards for Qualified Teacher Status and Class Teachers and other current legislation.
