Applications are invited for the above permanent, full-time post working within the HR Department.

The post holder will act as the designated HR Officer for the College of Medicine and Health, advising on a broad range of HR management issues, interpreting and advising on employee relations policies and procedures and employment legislation, as required. This will include matters such as supporting performance, capability, grievance, harassment or disciplinary procedures and advising on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and job evaluation

The post holder will be educated to degree level or equivalent, be part or fully CIPD qualified or have equivalent experience. The ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh is desirable for this post. If applicants are not able to speak / write in Welsh at present, there are many opportunities to learn if the successful candidate wishes to do so.

The successful candidate will be expected to commence as soon as possible, and applications will also be considered from those who may wish to work on a job share or part-time basis.

The role will be located on campus at Bangor. Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
