Aramark UK is seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Head of Park to join the team at Chessington World of Adventures in Chessington. This is a thrilling permanent opportunity reporting to our Head of Park F&B on site. As the Deputy Head, you will be responsible for all Park F&B operations throughout the theme park.

A day in the life of a Deputy Head of Park F&B

  • Support the Head of Park and take ownership and accountability of all food and beverage operations in the park.
  • Lead your team to success; This is a people role
  • Provide sustained, innovative, and continuous support as we look to improve our menus across a diverse estate.
  • Help the team create and write recipes that Amaze and enchant our guests.
  • Develop recipes, manage and monitor stringent GP targets.
  • Ensure our team have the tools and working equipment to do their job.
  • Provide sustained, innovative, and continuous improvement to the profitability of our offers.
  • Coach, motivate, and inspire a large team Lead by example.
  • Take the lead on the training and development of our team leaders, management, and staff.
  • Carry out regular audits of all our food and beverage outlets and always strive to improve our standards of food safety and cleanliness.
  • Plan and manage rotas to ensure labor % is achieved while still providing an amazing guest experience.
  • Ensure all daily paperwork/computer work is complete and that inventories and statistical reports are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Ensure a consistent high standard of hospitality for guests and our clients alike, ensuring KPI scores are surpassed.
  • Ensure payroll is completed promptly.
  • Carry out regular one-to-ones with the management team ensuring goals are set and performance is reviewed.
  • Contribute to the development of budgets, line schedules, and financial reporting packs.
  • Conduct appraisals with the management team and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support the team with operational requirements if necessary.

You will excel in this role if you have:

  • Experience as a Catering Manager in a high-volume and multi-outlet/site operation.
  • The ability to lead and manage a large team and a passion for training.
  • Flexibility and punctuality, with weekend work involvement
  • The capability to communicate effectively across different stakeholder groups.
  • Proficiency in IT and numerical skills.
  • Rigorous standards of Food safety and cleanliness.
  • Conducts weekly audits and ensures actions are followed through to completion.
  • Maintains accurate records of day-to-day operations.
  • Ensures compliance with all food safety, health & safety, and COSHH regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Managed Rotas and Payroll.
  • A Passion for working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
