**About the Role**

UNCOVER is seeking an experienced Deputy Head of Conflict Resolution to play a pivotal role in advising on conflict resolution and ensuring the firm's risk management processes align with regulatory standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead and manage the conflicts team, providing guidance and support in conducting conflict checks and identifying potential conflicts of interest.
  • Liaise with partners and senior stakeholders on client strategy and manage client relationships in terms of commercial conflicts to resolve conflicts issues.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to conflict management.
  • Conduct training and development for team members and the wider firm on conflicts of interest and related issues.
  • Support and advise the Conflicts Committee/Deputy GC in putting together business cases and making recommendations for the Conflicts Committee's/Deputy GC's decision.
  • Assist in monitoring and reviewing the firm's systems and processes to improve conflict-checking efficiency and accuracy.

**Requirements**

  • Qualified solicitor or legal professional with significant experience in conflicts management (in particular experience of managing commercial conflict issues) within an international law firm.
  • In-depth understanding of conflicts of interest regulations and professional conduct rules.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to manage complex conflict scenarios.
