Job Title: Head of Conflicts Resolution

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Conflicts Resolution team. As Head of Conflicts Resolution, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive conflicts management strategy that aligns with the firm's overall risk management objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a conflicts management strategy that ensures the firm's compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage and resolve conflicts escalated by the Business Acceptance team, working closely with senior management, Practice Group Heads, and Client Relationship Partners.
  • Provide guidance and support to the Conflicts Analysts and Conflicts Lawyers in their roles.
  • Collaborate with the Global Head of Business Acceptance and Conflicts Management to develop and implement a robust process for managing conflicts relevant to potential lateral hires.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on conflicts management and risk awareness for the firm's employees.
  • Supervise and mentor the Conflicts Analysts and Conflicts Lawyers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

Requirements:

  • Qualified lawyer with significant experience practicing in an international law firm.
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders, driving action and challenging inaction.
  • Strong partnership abilities, skilled in influencing and motivating others, especially senior leaders.
  • Ability to work independently and think critically.
  • Strong service focus with the need to listen and understand the essential requirements of different areas of the firm.
  • Ability to build connections and work collaboratively across boundaries at all levels.
