Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organised Virtual Event Production Intern to join our team for a 6 month internship. This full-time role is integral to the planning, execution, and follow-up of our live online masterclasses and workshops. You will work closely with our founder to deliver high-quality, professional virtual events that captivate and engage our audience. In addition, you’ll support content creation, audience engagement, and process improvement to ensure our events and resources continually provide exceptional value.


Key Responsibilities:Event Preparation:

  • Collaborate with the founder to create detailed run sheets or scripts for events, specifying timing for videos, graphics, and music.
  • Test all technical elements (e.g., videos, slides, audio) to ensure seamless integration during live events.
  • Set up and optimise the Zoom environment, including branding, registration, polls, breakout rooms, and Q&A settings.
  • Coordinate and rehearse with the founder and any guest speakers to ensure everyone is comfortable with the event flow.
  • Prepare engaging visual and audio assets, such as slides, overlays, and video clips.


Live Event Production:

  • Manage the technical aspects of live events, including:
  • Screen management (spotlighting speakers, screen sharing, etc.).
  • Playing videos, music, and overlays at the right moments.
  • Moderating chat, polls, and Q&A to engage the audience.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues in real-time.
  • Ensure smooth transitions between event segments, maintaining a polished and professional feel.


Post-Event Follow-Up:

  • Edit and process event recordings for on-demand access.
  • Upload recordings and resources to relevant platforms (e.g., Kajabi, YouTube, membership site).
  • Analyse engagement metrics and generate reports with actionable insights.
  • Send post-event communications, including thank-you emails and feedback requests.
  • Manage attendee queries and provide technical support if needed.


Content Creation & Repurposing:

  • Create and refine event-related materials, including slides, handouts, and downloadable resources.
  • Repurpose event content into social media clips, blog posts, or evergreen resources for online courses.
  • Assist with marketing and promotional campaigns for upcoming events.


Ongoing Support Between Events:

  • Manage and maintain the content library on platforms such as Kajabi or other online tools.
  • Support the creation of polished visuals, presentations, or resources for coaching and therapy sessions.
  • Research and implement new tools or techniques to enhance the quality of future events.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in virtual event production.


Ideal Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in managing virtual events, webinars, or live workshops.
  • Proficiency with platforms like Zoom, OBS Studio, or other live-streaming software.
  • Familiarity with content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar.
  • Strong technical skills for troubleshooting and managing live event challenges.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple moving parts.
  • Calm under pressure and able to adapt to last-minute changes.
  • Creative flair for producing visually appealing and engaging content.
  • Experience with CRM tools, email marketing platforms, and website management (e.g., Kajabi) is a plus.
