Company Overview:

Phoenix Immersive is the Intellectual Property Rights holder to the award-winning interactive art experience, Da Vinci: Genius which is currently expanding around the globe through third-party licensing deals with local partners & promoters. After show runs in Berlin & Amsterdam, Da Vinci: Genius recently opened in Florida and is set to start a two-year tour of India, beginning in Mumbai, from November 30th.


We are looking for a motivated and proactive Business Development Associate to join our team, contribute to our growth, and help us expand our show into even more cities around the world. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to kickstart a career in business development within the events industry and is looking to get exposure to a range of areas within a business.

 

Role Summary:

You will work closely with our licensing and finance teams to support new business efforts and drive revenue growth. You’ll engage in market research, prospecting, data-validation and relationship-building activities with prospective clients, contributing to the overall sales pipeline. This entry-level role is ideal for a hungry, go-getter with excellent communication skills and someone who is not afraid to pick up the phone to strangers You’ll also have a keen interest in sales, and a passion for events. You’ll need to be great with people and show high EQ to develop potential clients who can come from any city on earth, so you’ll be communicating with a wide range of backgrounds and cultures.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise our B2B sales platform as well as other available information sources to conduct market research to identify potential clients and targets.
  • Generate and qualify leads through various outreach methods, including email, phone, and social media.
  • Support the licensing team in developing proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Manage and update the CRM system with lead and client information, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Assist in coordinating meetings, calls, and follow-up activities with prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and ensure a seamless transition from sales to account management.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of our services and offerings, ensuring accurate and confident representation of our capabilities.

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in business development, sales, and the events industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and professional approach.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn and grow.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong technology and SaaS platform skills, previous experience using HubSpot would be beneficial but not a requirement.
