Location: Birmingham (Hybrid)

Length: 3 months

Rate: £23 – £24 p/h

Hours: 9am – 5pm


The Associate HR Business Partner (HR BP) will work closely with stakeholders to support the delivery of HR services and initiatives. This role acts as a bridge between teams and central services, ensuring effective communication and implementation of HR policies and practices. The ideal candidate will have early to mid-career experience in HR, with a focus on large corporate environments.

The role will cover 5 key areas

1 - Pay - pay changes and salary reviews

2 - Career development e.g. personal development reviews

3 - People practices - handing complex queries and approvals

4 - Redundancy and re-organisation - Delivery redundancy

5 - Use of data including DE&I and engagement surveys

Key responsibility:


Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand their needs and provide HR support.

Bridge Between Teams and Central Services: Facilitate communication and coordination between different teams and central HR services.

Compensation Management: Assist in pay changes, salary reviews, and ensure competitive compensation practices.

Employee Development: Support the development and implementation of people practices, including training and career development programs.

Headcount Management: Monitor and manage headcount, ensuring alignment with business needs.

Redundancy and Relocation: Manage redundancy processes and support employee redeployment and relocation efforts.

Change Management: Lead and support change initiatives within the organization.

Employee Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records and data, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.

HR Expertise: Provide tactical HR support and guidance to managers and employees.


Qualifications:


Experience: Early to mid-career experience in HR, preferably in a large corporate environment.

Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple stakeholders, and experience in compensation management, employee development, and change management.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data and provide insights to support HR decisions.

Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex HR issues.

Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.

Additional Information:


Redundancy and Redeployment: Understanding of redundancy processes and the ability to support employees through redeployment.

Training and Development: Experience in designing and delivering training programs.
