The Role

Assisting the Reconciliation team, your role will focus on managing all aspects of client monies, including management of customer monies bank accounts and of the corresponding liability accounts. You will also be required to lead in the completion of cardholder reconciliations where necessary. Your role is highly visibly within the EMEA Finance team and the business and its relationships with its customers depends on the quality and accuracy of the work of the Banking & Reconciliation team. Your role will be at an EMEA divisional level, but you will work closely with your global counterparts.


What you’ll do

  • Complete multi-currency daily ICA cardholder reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner
  • Carry out investigations into reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies identified as a result of the investigation
  • Develop improvements in day-to-day process and increasing efficiencies
  • Reconciliation of the funding flows between bank accounts
  • Reconciliation of customer receipts between bank accounts
  • Reconciliation of Mastercard prefund position
  • Assist in completion of quarterly Mastercard reporting.
  • Assist in completion of central bank reporting
  • Assist in completion of the monthly bank reconciliations
  • Escalate any safeguarding breaches to senior leadership
  • Other ad-hoc requests


What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's degree/Accountant/ trainee accountant
  • Expert knowledge of excel a requirement. Knowledge of NetSuite/Blackline a plus
  • Prior experience in a banking environment and / or within the Payments industry is required
  • Specific prior experience in a reconciliation role is required
