About the Role:

As an Art Director at Studio36, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual direction of our client projects. You’ll collaborate with clients, copywriters, and the creative team to develop and execute innovative visual concepts across multiple mediums—digital, video, UI/UX, and more. You’ll lead a talented team of designers, ensuring all work adheres to the highest creative standards while meeting client specifications and deadlines. Key Responsibilities:

  • Creative Leadership: Collaborate with clients and internal teams (copywriters, designers) to develop visual concepts that align with project goals and objectives.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality output and professional growth.
  • Multi-Medium Production: Oversee the creation of visual content across various mediums, including digital, video, 3D/2D animation, and more.
  • Innovation & Trend Integration: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, particularly in Web3 and disruptive tech, and integrate innovative design approaches into the creative process.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines, meet client specifications, and reflect the client’s vision and objectives.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, development, and other departments to ensure visual design aligns with broader company and project goals.
  • Quality Assurance: Review and approve final designs, ensuring they meet the creative standards and goals of Studio36 and our clients.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in design or a creative role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management position.
  • Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of creative projects across multiple mediums, including graphic design, digital, and animation.
  • Software Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) with additional experience in UI/UX, 3D/2D animation, and video production considered a plus.
  • Leadership: Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to mentor a creative team and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Design Expertise: Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and visual storytelling.
  • Web3 Experience (Bonus): Familiarity with Web3, blockchain, NFTs, or disruptive technologies is highly desirable.
