The Role:

FT Studio is an in-house creative team that produces high-quality content for the FT across luxury and B2B markets. As a Creative Art Director, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the FT Studio's creative department, ensuring the delivery of world-class content across various formats and industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality art direction support across digital, video, and animation, collaborating with Senior Art Directors and the wider team.
  • Develop and execute design concepts, typography, and editorial design across campaigns.
  • Present ideas and designs to team members and stakeholders.
  • Translate complex subject matters into compelling and engaging visual storytelling.
  • Ensure client briefs are at the heart of all solutions, exceeding client expectations.
  • Maintain and develop creative craft and excellence in delivery.
  • Collaborate with Senior Art Directors, creatives, producers, and writers to bring projects to a successful conclusion.
  • Be ideas-driven and passionate about storytelling.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent typography and graphic design skills.
  • Digital experience is a plus, but not necessary.
  • Ability to make compelling creative recommendations.
  • Collaborative mindset and team-oriented approach.
  • Strong organizational skills, juggling multiple complex tasks, and working independently and in a team.
  • Understanding of luxury markets and current trends.
  • Ability to take a creative approach to B2B subjects and offer a new perspective.
  • Appreciation of, interest in, and hunger to deliver best-in-class creative, pushing creative standards and techniques.
