The Managing Director for the new homeware line will play a pivotal role in launching, growing, and scaling a luxury homeware brand from the ground up. This is a high-level executive role that combines strategy, leadership, creativity, and operational expertise. The Managing Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the brand’s development, from initial concept and market positioning to product design, manufacturing, marketing, and sales channels.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision, goals, and objectives.
  • Work closely with the Board of Directors to develop and execute long-term growth strategies and adapt to industry trends.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with company goals.
  • Lead and inspire the creative team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Drive financial performance and profitability, ensuring sustainable growth and long-term success.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on innovation and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, and manage negotiations and contract agreements.
  • Report directly to the Board of Directors, with responsibility for crafting, communicating, and implementing business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Meet financial targets in collaboration with the Board, ensuring fiscal health and operational success.
  • Provide leadership in developing and executing strategies that support company-wide growth objectives.
  • Continuously refine the organizational structure to align with strategic goals, while mentoring and developing a high-performing leadership team.
  • Ensure the company has the necessary resources and talent to execute on growth initiatives effectively.
  • Review and refine product development strategies to drive sales and market expansion.
  • Lead and coordinate sales efforts across all channels, including trade, contract, wholesale, and e-commerce.


Professional Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role, ideally within the luxury product or homeware sector.
  • Strong financial acumen with full P&L responsibility and a focus on profitability.
  • Expertise in sales, brand marketing, go-to-market (GTM) strategies, and general business leadership within the homeware or related industries.
  • Deep understanding of business operations, financial management, and market growth strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to inspire and lead teams toward achieving ambitious goals.
  • A passion for design, innovation, and delivering excellence.
