Asst Manager/Manager Finance

Job Description:
- Planning and Analysis: Develop and oversee financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to support strategic initiatives and financial performance monitoring.
- Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and disclosures in compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS standards and regulatory requirements.
- Reporting: Provide regular financial insights and analysis to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- and Compliance:Manage tax planning, compliance, and reporting activities, including VAT, corporation tax, and other relevant taxes, ensuring adherence to UK tax laws and regulations.
- Management: Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring timely and accurate provision of financial information and addressing audit findings and recommendations.
- Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital requirements, optimizing cash management strategies and supporting funding decisions.
- Controls: Establish and maintain robust financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Systems: Evaluate and implement financial systems and tools to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve financial reporting capabilities.
Qualification & Competencies required:
- Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with 6-10 years’ experience in relevant field
- degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, MSc) is a plus.
- knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
