Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented eCommerce Manager to head up the WebOps team within the eCommerce department. You will oversee the daily operations of our Magento 2 retail eCommerce website(s). A key responsibility in this role is defining and project managing the entire product upload process, ensuring timely and accurate listings of new products. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to support broader website promotions, ensuring these run smoothly and deliver an exceptional user experience.


Key Responsibilities:

Personalised Product Upload Process:

  • Define, refine, and project manage the end-to-end personalised product upload process, coordinating with various teams to ensure all new products are accurately and efficiently listed on our retail website(s) with the best sales copy and consistent metadata powering filters and search.

Website Management:

  • Oversee the website(s) content management, ensure updates are made in a timely manner, across all brands and territories.

Promotions:

  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to ensure Cart Price and Catalogue Price rules are set up correctly and tested in advance of launch, ensuring a smooth shopping experience with no gaps in customers expectations.

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):

  • Create and maintain clear, detailed SOPs for website operations, particularly for the product upload process, to ensure consistency and efficiency across the team.

Technical Coordination:

  • Work closely with IT and Tech teams to manage site infrastructure and troubleshoot any technical issues.

Project Management:

  • Working with the wider business to support website-related projects from conception through execution, including redesigns, new feature implementation, and third-party integrations.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Liaise with stakeholders across departments, including design, marketing, product, and customer service teams, to align website operations with business objectives.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of website administration/management experience, ideally Magento 2, preferably in a personalised retail eCommerce environment.
  • Strong ability within Excel using v-lookups and building CSV import sheets.
  • An understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, CMS platforms, and SEO best practices.
  • Experience with setting up tools such as Google Analytics and GTM.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, ICO) is a plus.
